After years studying and teaching Kung Fu in Hong Kong, Sifu Chris returned to his home town of Sydney, looking to establish a new school for the practice and growth of martial arts. He sought to combine the physical training with his previous experience in mental health and psychotherapy, to develop a system which was strong and active, and at the same time focussed and mindful.
To create a brand and visual identity that spoke both to the strength and power of Kung Fu, while remaining grounded in mindfulness, and the subtle nature of the art. The goal was to create a visual mark that would combine these elements, and serve as a starting point for the brands collateral and online marketing.
The logo mark combines elements of strength, fluidity and respect, uniting visuals of mountains, water and the sign shown with your fists to opponents and teachers of the martial art.
